Summary:

After a botched robbery, outlaw William seeks refuge with Maria, a single mother who escaped an abusive past. Living on a small farm in Bright Sky, Maria offers him shelter in exchange for help. As William repairs the house, Maria's son, Sam, begins to see him as a father figure, and Maria starts to develop feelings for William. However, their budding romance faces obstacles when the corrupt town sheriff, envious of their connection, investigates William's past and Maria's history as a prostitute. With support from the local pastor and his wife, William and Maria confront their challenges, healing from their pasts and embracing their love.
